Well never used a blog before, so have just set this up. Probably won't be posting much on here till I leave (unless I get really excited) btw I leave on the 20th January heading for Tokyo first. That will be more of a touristy holiday I would imagine rather than the rest of the trip.
I am going to be staying with Toshiko and Mikio for some of my time in Japan and am looking forward to that - though I may need to brush up on my Japanese!
Also thinking of doing my PADI course when I get to Australia - can't think of a better place to do it than the Great Barrier Reef ;-)
Other than that if anyone has any bright ideas of places to go/things to see let me know - not saying I'll do them, but will if they are there where I am!

I've got the Pimsleur Japanese course if you want to learn the basics before you go mate :)
